DENMARK THRILLS ADVENTURE PARK

Public BBQ

Denmark Thrills Adventure Park proves that adrenaline and a decent barbie can coexist, though one suspects the management didn't quite plan it that way. While most visitors hurtle down Mount Shadforth Road for the zorb experiences, the barbecue facilities lurk quietly among the adventure apparatus like a sensible aunt at a rock concert. The picnic tables offer blessed refuge between heart-stopping activities - because nothing says "family bonding" quite like grilling snags after watching Dad tumble downhill in a giant hamster ball. It's peculiarly Western Australian, really: extreme sports meets traditional barbecuing. The parking handles the adventure crowds adequately, though finding a spot between the thrill-seekers' vehicles requires its own small act of courage.
